A Roll of Confederate Heroes Who Laid Down Their Lives in Hospitals or on the Field of Battle—The List Sacredly Preserved by One of Their Surviving Comrades.

Mr. L.M. Speers of Newberry was orderly sergeant of Company B, Third South Carolina regiment in the Civil War. He has the roll of the company which he preserves with great care and with affectionate remembrance of his comrades living and dead.
