June 23, 1842

Taken up by John Iseminger in Morgan Twp., Butler Co. a stray, appraised by Wm. H. Dearmond and John Hommer. Absalom McKain, J.P.

Died at the residence of Mr. John Nichols of Hanover Twp. on 16th inst., Robert Taylor, age 53 years. He served in the last was under Gen. Harrison in Capt. Joel Collins’ Rifle Company.

Geo. Emrick and Jacob Bake, Adm. will sell real estate of Jonathan Sarver, deceased, late of Butler Co., subject to right of dower of Elizabeth Sarver, relict.

John K. Wilson, Sheriff of Butler Co. will offer for sale real estate formerly belonging Thomas Taylor and his wife, Mary at the suit of Wales B. Bonney, Adm. of Joseph Simpson, deceased.

John K. Wilson, Sheriff, will sell real estate at the suit of Daniel Rumple, jr. vs. William Smith and Edward B. Reed on 30 June.

Same will sell real estate at the suit of Samuel Smith, Adm. of John Cornthwaite, deceased, against Wm. H. Marshall and Andrew Smith.

Clarissa Lester, appointed by the last will and testament of Andrew Lester, deceased, late of Butler Co. proved will May, 1842 and requests payment of debts.

James Cook, Adm. of estate of Charles Hankinson, deceased, of Madison Twp., Butler Co. asks debtors and claiments to come forward.

Wm. S. Clark (non-resident) had property in Butler Co. attached for debt on 1 June 1842. Sheriff’s Sale in Morgan Twp. of property at the suit of Ludwick Batz, gdn vs. Ephraim Carmack.

All persons with claims against the estate of Zerah Rolfe, deceased, of Liberty Twp. are hereby notified to present them to Sarah Rolfe, Admx.

All persons with claims against the estate of William Campbell, deceased, of Lemon Twp. Butler Co., are hereby notified to present them to S.B. Holmes, Adm.

Sigismund Wurmser makes declaration of bankruptcy.

Writ of attachment of property has been made against Thomas C. Veach, an absconding debtor.

All persons with claims against the estate of Isaac W. Miller, deceased, of Wayne Twp., Butler Co., are hereby notified to present them to Wm. Miller and Samuel Miller, Adms.

All persons with claims against the estate of Zephaniah Selby, deceased, of Madison Twp. Butler Co., are hereby notified to present them to M. Selby, Adm.

Amanuel Kashner, age about 14 years, an indented apprentice ran away from N.L. Conrey of Reily Twp. Reward of 6 1/4 cents, but no thanks.

All persons with claims against the estate of Caleb Hill, deceased, of Hanover Twp., Butler Co., are hereby notified to present them to Wm. Dodds, Adm.

All persons with claims against the estate of David Fawcit, deceased, of Butler Co., are hereby notified to present them to Jane Fawcit, Admx.

$50 Reward for apprehension and delivery of Michael Masterson who escaped from jail in Butler Co. where he was under suspicion of altering orders drawn in his favor on Treasurer of Colerain, Oxford and Brookville Turnpike Co. G. Richards, President.
